Valuations cover all areas of Fine Art and Antiques to include Fine and Antique Furniture, Pictures, Prints and Photographs, Works of Art, Clocks, Silver, Ceramics, Oriental Rugs and Carpets, Jewellery, Militaria, Books and Manuscripts and Textiles.
The work is undertaken by experienced valuers following a comprehensive discussion with clients to establish their exact requirements. We have over 30 years experience in undertaking valuation work and the specialists we use are highly regarded in their area of expertise and also have many years of experience.
Written inventories are compiled on site and valued in accordance to location and/or by item type - each item is appraised, a comprehensive description compiled and a relevant value given. Each valuation is charged on a time basis.
The completed valuation is presented bound in a typed format with a frontispiece which details the nature of the valuation, the ownership of the goods and chattels and the date on which the items were sighted and valued. There is a signed certificate of valuation.
